Mondays are for roller skating!!!
We teach outdoor roller skating for kids who can skate forward and want to learn more!!! Like how to navigate the skatepark, stop faster, skate faster and how to stop in and skate ramps.
Coached by one of NZs top roller skaters and derby players Ivyk'nivey Bates
We run a 10am and a 4pm class
$15 a class.
Or $45 for one on ones.

School Holidays Yay.
Time to practise all the skating skills we have learnt during the term.
Ivyk'nivey Bates will be coaching two classes on Monday 8th July in Mt Maunganui.
9-10am at the new Mt Maunganui skatepark. Practising flat skills and tricks and how to navigate a busy skatepark.
10:30-11:30am across the road at Blake Park Vert ramp will teach proper pumping techniques and in ramp tricks to practise over the holidays.
Cost: $15 per class. 🛼🛼🛼
Skill level: Must be able to skate forward⏭️
Safety: Helmets 🪖 required. Wrist gaurds and knee pads recommended- book in if you want to borrow ours.

A rad roller disco event put on by people from the lovely Gender Dynamix Aotearoa community so happy to be part of it providing skates and skating tips❤️🔥

Some pics from This terms skate classes
So disappointed ☹️ with one new skatepark in Mt Maunganui they then removed the Memorial park vert ramp. A safe place we often went to teach kids how to pump the ramp and build up strength for ramp skating.
Why Tauranga City Council would you get rid of this and not replace it?
Here’s some pics of two of my favourite students enjoying the ramp over the past couple of years:) & coach Ivyk'nivey Bates getting backside lands a skill that you work up to landing higher and higher. This ramp at Memorial helps to build that confidence for landing tricks and eventually being confident to take on the biggest ramp at Blake park.

Thank you parents and supporters who came along for our 10 week skate active program, held at Apanui school.
Yesterday was our last one specifically for Skate Active beginner program. We had a consistent group of 13-16 students attending these classes,
each week practising & building their skills for skating in strength, agility and confidence rolling.
Let’s Roll Coaching team are so proud of everyone’s progress and determination. Especially happy to see many student’s confident grow, enough to take to skating around the schools concrete pump track!!🥳🥳🥳

We will be starting a new follow on, level up class with on Tuesdays at Whakatāne skatepark McAlister Street from 4.00pm -5:00pm for anyone wanting to keep building on those skills in a group class. Dm for more details.

Well Mondays we are running two, 2 hour level up classes in Tauranga.
Then Thursday week 1 A learn to skate class indoors followed by 60s themed roller disco at Edgecumbe hall
& Friday week 2 a learn to skate class indoors followed by 60s themed roller disco at Ohope hall.
So lots of opportunities for skating and getting better on 8 wheels.
One on one classes also available if you want to upskill your skating.
