Our team came across this extreme damage to a customer’s fireplace yesterday. This was a result of worn out parts not doing the job they needed to, to keep the fire running efficiently and safely.

Lately we’ve received a few bookings for chimneys being blocked up with larger creosote fragments. This is often to do with excessive moisture in the fire place caused by burning either wet wood, or really Gummy types of wood. This can result in the fire not running efficiently or even blocking it up to the point where it smokes the house out.
