Making stock for 2024, these are small copper monarchs. Made of full copper using the flame heat and patina to achieve the colours. Some will be on stakes and some will be going in a custom frame.

Came away with this award last night, many thanks to the Taranaki national art awards and the Nice hotel!! Big thanks to those who have supported my journey, feeling super stoked with this award.

Grafted Copper

We were lured in by the appeal of the elemental. Oxidisation of copper, subtle variations of patina, skillful crafting of foliage, petals and pods, delicacy of nimble form and mesmerising shadow play beneath the canopy. The tree stands with elegance and grace, gently shimmering with subtle illuminations.

Some of these will be going up on shop soon and some will be getting frames for wall art.

Chipping away at different projects that I can start and stop when the creativity is there, this is a coppered patina clock concept I have been working on.

This piece has some flame 🔥 colouring, aged patina and natural copper for a rustic finish.

Textured every piece of this patched heart, this will add good detail to the end result.
