Did you know that honey is the only type of sugar that actually improves your tooth health instead of harming it? It's true!

QUESTION:
Have you ever looked at your teeth & thought that they aren't too bad?

That is what I said quite a few years ago & so does many of you!
However when I got the colour of my teeth measured using a tooth Shade Guide, with different shades of teeth from 0 white to 40 being the darkest.
I thought I would be about 1/2 way like a 20 on the shade guide as my family all have naturally white teeth.
BUT....
My shade was 32 out of 40 colours!!! I was horrified, wondering why I didn't see that, but when you think about it, your lips are darker than your teeth which means that you will always have that contrast without even noticing your teeth slowly getting darker as the years go on. Mine was also contributed to antibiotics (tetracycline) for 5yrs for tonsillitis, coffee & red wine 🙁
I panicked as I was so disgusted in my colour, that I did 3x1hr treatments in 1wk! Phewweee yes by the third one I did have sore teeth for 24hrs, but they came right in a day.
Some people worry that they are going to go too white like Ross off friends when his teeth were fluro.. lol, but your teeth will only go as light as what your genetics will let you go, so you will always suit the colour you end up on.
But hey how exciting is this that I went from a shade of 32 dark beige, down to an 8 white on that shade guide... And the great thing is I will never go back to that horrible beige 32 colour again as it took 40yrs to get to that colour that you just can't revert back to that in weeks or months.
So YEY, no embarrassing smile everywhere I go now, I look & feel happy, confident & healthy!!!
