A very big Hello to you all.
Erana and I would like to thank you all very much for thinking of Into The Wild for you Motorhome adventures.
We have truly enjoyed meeting all of you and hearing about your holidays and it has been our pleasure to have been apart of them.

However, it is with sadness that we announce that we have decided to sell our Motorhome due to just how busy our lives are at this time which will end the Into The Wild Camper Hire.
We will purchase another Motorhomes in the future and we may get to meet you again.

We wish you all the every best for your future and a huge Happy Camping whether you choose to rent again or choose to purchase your own home away from home.

Its been some time since our previous post but after a very busy last 6 months with hires, we managed a little getaway ourselves and decided to head up to New Plymouth and what a beautiful place it is.
We took the Friday off work and set off on the Thursday early evening destined for Wanganui where we stopped at one of the Freedom Camping spots in the area.
In the morning and after a gentle morning stroll around the Wanganui Lake and gardens we set off towards Patea where we had lunch at the river mouth and beach. Lovely Black sand and a little bit history in the form of a ship wreck greeted us.
The Surf Highway was the next direction on the way to New Plymouth with lots of beautiful places to stop and explore around the coast.
Although IntoTheWild Motorhome is well equipped to freedom park we chose to stay at the Belt Road Holiday Park due to its cliff top elevated positioning, amazing views and only 100m walk down to the Costal Walk Way.

This was our first time holidaying in a Campervan for my wife and I. We hired it for 9 days and everything from the start with Shane and Erana exceeded our expectation. This campervan is very well equipped with everything we needed. We utilised the bike rack for our ebikes and it worked very well.
We spent the first night in a powered site at a proper Holiday Park as insurance for ourselves to make sure that we were comfortable with what we took on. After that we only had one other night on a powered site - that was how comfortable we found the setup and how confident that we had become after a single night.
The van I found was very nice and easy to drive and it was very cosy and warm at all times. We cooked or prepared all our meals in the van and wanted for nothing.
There were a couple of minor issues during our hire and Shane was very responsive and helpful in resolving those minor issues.
All instructions provided were through and provided everything we needed.
One of the best things about the setup was the onboard CD collection which was amazing. We did not want for music that we enjoyed.
Thank you very much to Shane and Erana for making our first Campervan experience such a fantastic one. We have decided that we will be definitely repeating the experience and utililising Into The Wild again.

From start to finish our whole motorhome experience and journey has been wonderful! Shane and Erana were lovely to deal with and so helpful. As first timers Shane's motorhome orientation was amazing and we left feeling confident and well informed. The motorhome itself exceeded our expectations and was also really well appointed. We had such a great time we didn't want to come home!

Another fantastic trip away over Waitangi weekend.
Overnight stop at the Clive bridge freedom camping area before heading up to Waipatiki Beach the following day. From there we heading North to Lake Tutira for a couple of nights which is about 45 mins from Napier. Beautiful and scenic with the feel of being in the middle of nowhere which we highly recommend!
Please get in touch if you feel like taking a trip away into your middle of nowhere.

With Christmas fast approaching and summer now a reality, why not turn your dream of taking some time off to relax and re-energise into reality and enjoy a Motorhome adventure.
