Meet the maker! Hi all🙋‍♀️ I think it is about time to introduce myself again here.

My name is Jaymie, I'm a mum, an artist and an avid crafter living in Auckland.

Personally, I love being creative with many art forms whether it is painting, crafting, digital art or making jewellery, I love experimenting with new tools and techniques. I think creativity is essential for life and everyone needs to do something creative everyday.

I'm a parent to a child with Autism and most of my free time is planned around him. Being a parent for a special needs child is like getting on a roller coaster every day. To put it simply - it's a pretty wild ride tbh 😅!

I'm a fan of chocolate 🍫(who isn't, right?) and over the years I've become a lover of tea ☕, especially those aromatic spicy chai teas. I'm also a big fan of reading nonfiction. 📚
So, chocolate + tea + a good book = my perfect combo 👌

As you already know I'm the founder of Let's Craft NZ - Kids Craft Boxes and we make craft kits for kids.

About 5 years ago I left my corporate job and started this craft shop to create craft boxes for young children. My aim was to inspire kids to be creative at home, encourage hands-on learning and also help parents with prepared fun projects.

Thanks to our loving, supportive and loyal customers, this little craft shop has been able to survive many challenges throughout the years. Thank you and I'm so grateful for your support.
