This day two years ago, I stepped out of my comfort zone, baked a few vegan treats and went to my very first ever market stall! 🫣 I was TERRIFIED! I thought there is no way anyone would buy any of my vegan baked goods. I was preparing for the worst! I remember selling out soooo quickly and I had nothing but AMAZING costumers 💖 fast forward to now, I now do this as my FULL TIME job! I said goodbye to my day job in September and we are still here, baking strong at 2am! I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wake up so damn grateful that this is my life now and I have all of you wonderful people to thank. Thank you so so much for making this my reality.

So let’s celebrate 🥳 who wants half a dozen of donuts tomorrow! (Friday)

Hey 👋🏼 I thought I would do a “meet the baker” post.

My names Jessinta but everyone calls me Jessi 👧🏼
I started Herbie Fully Vegan now two years ago 🍩
(Was meant to just be my wee hobby as I had a full time job) 👩‍🏫 but as my customers just kept on growing, I reached out to local cafes to see if they would like to stock my vegan baked goods and I went full time into baking September 2023! 👩‍🍳 now stocking 5 cafes every week.
I was born in Queensland and fell in love with a southlander who brought me to Invercargill 7 years ago and we haven’t left 🇳🇿
I’m a mother of two awesome kids. Charli + Atlas Age 9 & 8 👧🏼 👦🏻 and have a pretty rad husband who is also my full time taste tester and delivery man 🚐
If I’m not baking, you can find me lifting weights at the gym, enjoying a oat latte at a local cafe or napping 😜
My favourite Herbie donut flavour is: apple custard 🍏
