We are so grateful for all of the adorable and super warm donations we have received recently. There’s nothing better than packing a pack knowing a little one is going to be warmer, drier & cosier because of it! 🐻🍂❄️

If you’re having a clean out of your little one’s winter clothes this season, or you’re a whizz with the knitting needles, crochet hook or sewing machine we’d love to hear from you! 💛

We wanted to take this opportunity to start a regular monthly thank-you to all of our incredible crafters, menders, washers, donators and financial supporters. Across Aotearoa, we've given over 80,000 baby items to support 538 pēpi in need so far this year.

Today we officially bid a bittersweet farewell to our home in Dunedin Community House. Our little nest here has become too snug, so we are excited to announce we have moved into a larger space in the ODT Building on Stuart Street. This new space will allow us to continue to expand as we support more local babies and their families.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Rob, Susan, and all the wonderful tenants at Dunedin Community House. Your warm welcome, invaluable connections, and unwavering support have been instrumental as we ventured into the charity space.

Our new location includes a convenient drop-off point in the ground floor reception of the ODT Building. We look forward to this new chapter and the opportunities it brings to make an even greater impact in our community.

Unfortunately our incredible Catherine’s bout in Punch with Purpose II was cancelled but we wanted to say how immensely proud we are of the mahi she has done in the ring and out of it, and the way she has used this platform to promote the work we do.

When you have a secret project to set up but realise it won't fit in the car, who do you call? We ring our friends at Cooke Howlison Hyundai, of course! The team is always happy to help, even if the request is a little more... unusual. They lent us a Santa Fe, so naturally there was more than enough room to fit these mystery items. Today we've got a series of groups and organisations to thank for their generous support. Starting off with a huge thank you to the incredible Catalytic Foundation, who have given us a generous grant and endorsement as a 2024 Catalytic Foundation charity. This grant will be used to top up our packs with essentials, including clothing - often sourced pre-loved to support other local charities, reduce our environmental impact and spread the love around Ōtepoti while supporting local families.

Huge thanks to the Catalytic Foundation, the donors, and all the volunteers who help determine these grants. Your support is invaluable, and we couldn't do what we do without you!
