We have a wealth of healing plants sitting right in the bush outside our backdoors!

Did you know that the bark of the beautiful Kowhai (Sophora sp) was heated with water to make a poultice to heal wounds and sore backs. Its juice was also use as a direct application to heal seal bites!

I can't wait to get creative with this amazing plant.

Spent a lovely evening doing some self care by creating self some self care products! Just for me: Sleep Relaxation Balm with magnesium and spruce oil, bath soak with magnesium, lavender, clary sage, cedarwood, frankinsense and vetiver and my go to cleanser with black seed, manuka and frankinsense essential oils!!
