Once upon a time.....

Once upon a time there were Missionaries that come to Aotearoa and fellow migrants in the 1880s who ended up settling in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The story of Pakeha and their journey here in Aotearoa continues and after 180 years it can be said that even Pakeha have songs that could describe their history and positive contributions to this land and our society as a Nation

It is with Pakeha history of 180years in mind that the group Ngati Wikitoria is formed this 3rd of Jan 2021. Ngati Wikitoria is for Pakeha and New Zealanders.

But what will they sing and perform?
Appropriately Ngati Wikitoria will sing Christian songs with various messages and Kaupapa. Maori songs will be composed as well that will highlight Pakeha history and Kaupapa. It’s a work in progress, but if you love to sing and perform or would just love to be in a Haka group with a unique kaupapa then join today and let’s sing sing sing 🙂
