Carved out some weaving time recently. Was able to warp up and weave off 4 vibrant possum fibre shawls. This video is cutting them off after weaving.
The warp is a blend of 4 different pink, purple and grape shades, with a weft in each colour. Have to mend, wash and press next, will post the finished items once completed!

Ever wondered how I get 576 threads all the same several meters long without getting into a tangled, snarled mess? This tool is how.... Using my warping mill to measure 576 warps all 8 meters long. Ohh, I love this part! Unwinding the end product is so satisfying and exciting! In this case, the two 'peacock' shawls i made last weekend, one predominantly blue and the other spring green. The yarn i used is so fine, they are almost transparent!
