๐Ÿฅณ Jojoba's back, baby! ๐Ÿฅณ We're so pleased to have Jojoba Oil back in stock - it's such a wonderful, versatile carrier oil to have on hand, especially for skincare as it's so close in composition and structure to our skin's natural oils.

It's also:

- noncomedogenic (so it won't clog up your pores!)
- anti-inflammatory
- naturally hypoallergenic
- packed with delicious vitamins and minerals that your skin & hair will LOVE
- not technically an oil - it's actually a liquid wax ester!

So if this is the carrier oil you neeeeed, you're in luck - we've stocked up the store and it's ready to go ๐Ÿ˜˜

Scent can be a difficult task to describe - sometimes I'm tempted to just write "it's yum!" but that isn't terribly helpful! However, essential oils (and other fragranced things, such as fragrance oils, perfumes, etc) can be categorised into different scent families AND be given a scent profile which helps describe that particular scent.

This is helpful because it can give you an idea of what an oil might smell like, based on comparing it to something you might already be familiar with! You also might find that you're drawn to scents or oils from a particular family - for example, I'm a total sucker for citrus scents! But I also really love woody and earthy scents.

How about you?

Feeling any of these feels? Here are some suggestions of which oils to reach for ๐Ÿ’›

16/08/2023

We're back! And we need a favour (but we'll do ya one in return - read on!)

We've just installed a reviews app on our website... but the problem is, we don't have any reviews yet! (and, ya know, it'd be weird if we went and reviewed everything ourselves...)

So if you've bought or received oils from us in the past, could you pretty please head to the web and leave a review? This helps encourage other potential customers to try things out - often better coming from you than from us!

The review system is for individual oils, rather than just us as a business, so just find the webpage for the oil (or oils) that you've got and love, and scroll down ๐Ÿ˜ Let us know if you can't find where to go and we'll be happy to help!

Aaaaaand because we know it'd be rude to just show up after a fortnight of radio silence then come in strong asking a favour, we'll sweeten the deal: if you send us a screenshot of your review, we'll send you a discount code for your next order ๐Ÿฅฐ

Thanks friends! Appreciate your support ๐Ÿ˜˜

Need some extra sunshine on these chilly, grey rainy days? Lemon not only gives you an emotional boost, but it can help give a much-needed immunity boost, too. It's a really great option to have and use over these winter months!

I'm definitely on the Bergamot Buzz at the moment. It's bright and citrusy, but with slightly floral, grounding notes to it; sophisticated and complex and abbbbsolutely divine.

Are you a bergamot fan?

One of my absolute FAVOURITE things to use essential oils for is to lift my spirits. To boost my mood. To invigorate my energy.

Here are some of my top picks - but I'd love to know what your favourite essential oils are when you want a bit of a lift! LMK in the comments ๐Ÿ’›

It's no secret that we love essential oils - but we also love our furbabies, and want to make sure we don't accidentally cause them any undue stress! So here's a bit of starting info for using essential oils if you have pets in the house - but please always make sure you do your own research :)

*I should also mention, this diffuser was empty and turned off, and isn't used in this room (which the cats have taken over!). I just placed it there for the photo ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜…

Ahh, Witch Hazel - a must-have for any natural first aid kit! This versatile and helpful liquid is a wonderful skincare ingredient, but can also be called upon to assist with bug bites, sunburn, minor cuts and scrapes, and *erm* although they're uncomfortable to talk about (and have), Witch Hazel is actually also a pretty effective home remedy for hemorrhoids. Just saying!

Love making your own goodies? Make sure you do it safely! Natural doesn't necessarily mean safe or gentle. But thankfully, this is an easy one to get right!

Have you got a bath? Do you love a good soak?

What's the difference between Vanilla and Vanilla French?

Vanilla is more of a classic & soft fragrance, intended to encapsulate that yummy, creamy, fresh vanilla bean aroma we all know and love. It has a very slightly woodsy, balsamic, warm feel to it. It can be very comforting, as it's super familiar! It's good on it's own, but it's also a fantastic fragrance to blend with other oils to layer and deepen your scent profile; Black Raspberry, Ylang Ylang and White Musk are all popular options that blend well with Vanilla.

Vanilla French on the other hand is a bit stronger, richer, and has a delicious buttery, almost caramelly base to it - think French Vanilla ice cream or Crรจme Brรปlรฉe. It has a wonderful depth of mouth-watering aroma, tying in subtle notes of baked custard and toasty tonka bean. This is a great choice if you want a lovely, sophisticated vanilla fragrance all on its very own!

Which one do you prefer?
