I have to admit I had a lot of fun playing with the lighting! Being able to change the mood in your bathroom with just the touch of a button/switch is incredible!
In a small bathroom like this it really delivers a designer punch that my clients love.
Easy to clean and it feels like they are in the bathroom of a five star hotel, or so they tell me! The kids love it to!
Dynamic Plumbing Works knocked this one out the park! They built and plumbed the dream bathroom I designed for my client and brought it to life. I am so proud to have teamed up with them!

It's becoming more and more appealing isn't it? The thought of getting out of the city and back to the family bach.

I worked with a client this week on some mood boards for a beautify family bach that they have just purchased. It needed a lick of paint, and a couple of gorgeous finishing touches to make it into a space they can now escape to.
I loved the colours my clients chose with me, they would even work beautifully for a coastal home that wants to celebrate our beautiful NZ beaches.

Many people think that Interior Design is this big process that is stressful and complicated. When I tell them that it can be as simple as sitting down with me for a cup of tea and having a talk about things that they have loved in other peoples homes or on their travels many find it hard to believe.
Some of my favourite projects have started as this one did this week. Sitting with my client and listening to her dreams for her space and showing her materials and finishes and the right products to get the exact look she wants in her kitchen.
The process is different for every project, but I do think that talking to your designer about what you want is the most important first step in the design process.
