Edit to todays Post:

It's taken a few hours/days trying to get my head around NZ Post charges as they have different pricing for North Island and South Island.
So I have had to redo all my courier pricing and separate it out to North Island and South Island.
Downside is my courier pricing has had to go up 🙁
While Aramex went down hill and were not good to deal with they did have the cheapest courier pricing in NZ which is the reason I hung in there with them trying to keep the price down for my customers.
Pricing in general to send courier packages no matter which company is exorbitant in New Zealand and it is totally out of my control.
With rural delivery if I use any company other than NZ Post then the cost will be more due to courier company clicking the ticket before they hand the package over to NZ Post to deliver.

Just letting you all know that signature required is still available on courier parcels but there will now be a $3 charge, there will not be a signature option on rural deliveries.

I used to absorb this cost when using Aramax as the cost was far less but with the new rates from NZ Post I can no longer wear this cost.

I am letting you know that I am no longer using Aramex as my courier company. [only exception will be if they deliver somewhere NZ Post doesn't]

I have been slowly changing deliveries over to NZ Post, and have been using NZ Post for all Christchurch and South Island deliveries.

I know that no courier company is perfect and while I know that some of you have issues with NZ Post, so far I have not had a glitch with anything I have sent out with them [crossing fingers it stays that way].

I will have to review my pricing as NZ Post seem to be more expensive to send to the North Island but in the meantime pricing will stay the same until I have sat down and reviewed everything in more detail.

Finally finished my painting. Been in my stash about 6 years. 120 x 60 square beads.

Hi Crafters,
Some of you may have noticed that there is now a new section on my website for drop shipping.

Drop shipping means you will purchase your diamond painting as usual but instead of it coming to you via my stock room it will come direct to you from my supplier.

Positives of this:
You get a lovely soft lint canvas with a wavey edge.
You also get to choose whether you want your diamond painting with round or square beads.
It comes with an A4 precut sticker sheet.
Canvas will be poured glue with transparent cover sheet.
Advanced tool kit
Freight is included in the price.
Negatives:
You will have to wait about 21 days to receive your diamond painting.

I will still be stocking my usual number of designs for immediate shipping to you from my stock room, but it will mean that when I sell out of a design in my stock room it will be transferred over to the drop shipping section for purchase anytime.

I can promise you that the quality of what you will receive will be comparable to other top diamond painting companies and this will reflect in the price that I will be charging.

As most of you will know I bring in my stock diamond paintings in either round or square beads.

I then have some of you wanting to purchase the painting in the beads I don’t have. When you do this the price goes up due to it being a one off. The pricing of the drop shipping is pretty much the same as I charge for a custom diamond painting, but you get all the extras like soft lint canvas and often don’t have to wait as long to receive your diamond painting.

Having all designs available for drop shipping means my overseas customers will be able to choose from a larger selection of diamond paintings as some go out of stock quickly and then are normally deleted from my website once sold out as I don’t restock past designs. [The exception is Rose Proffitt Designs which I restock as they are sold]

There will be a “Diamond Painting Drop Ship” section under shop on the website and also every painting that is drop ship will state it in the heading.

These are the first paintings to arrive with the new precut sticker sheet.
You no longer have to cut the sheet to size and stick on your bottles they now come precut you just peel and stick.😀

Well long 12 hour days, over the last 4 weeks and the new office is finally completed.
I am so very proud of my honey he built absolutely everything from scratch, from making all the cupboards, work benches to making his own profile for the architrave and skirting. He recycled the beautiful rimu wood floor and it now has 5 coats of polyurethane protecting it.
I cleaned, sanded and painted, fetched and carried and kept him well fed 😀
It has been a total team effort and I am absolutely stoked with the final result.
I have been very absent with my social media etc. over the last 4 weeks but I am back to normal on Monday.
I have a large bunch of new stock arriving, these are not paintings but diamond painting craft items like keyrings, book marks, and lots of new items I have not stocked before so looking forward to bringing you lots of new things to diamond paint soon.
Hope the New Year has started well for all of you and look forward to plenty of diamond painting time.
Remember Chinese New Year/Spring Break is coming up fast so most of China shuts down for up to 4 weeks so expect delays in receiving custom paintings. My next order goes in on March 1st for delivery end March.

McBride Projects office project starting to take shape again.
Will be awesome when finished, will post progress photos as we go.
Today was emptying it out of temporary office furniture and marking out for the new work stations and cupboards.
Floor to be finished and polyeuathaned before we build office desks etc.
Poor cat Harry will have to go to cattery, while I love him he will find someway to walk on newly polyeuathane floors.
