As we keep marching through the year, we need to keep looking at how we can keep progressing forward. What goals have you set for yourself this year? Are you heading in the right direction? What else can you do to achieve them? How can we at Healthy You help you? Don’t be afraid to ask any of us anything regarding your goals, we here at Healthy You are more than happy to help anyone progress towards their goals.
Now onto the top performers of the week:
Tara Lee-Mooney – Since coming back from breaking her foot, she has been smashing the classes the energy and enthusiasm she brings infects the rest of the class. Been amazing having you back in the classes! Keep working hard, keep being steady (for now) looking forward to the next class!
Mike Procter – during Mike’s PT session, he works incredibly hard and is dedicated to improving himself, the progress he is making is fantastic. Keep working hard and keep pushing towards your goals.
REMINDER – NO CLASSES OR PTS FROM 29TH MARCH TO THE 1ST APRIL FOR THE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND. We hope you all have a great long weekend!

Steamrolling through March, didn’t Jan and Feb feel extra long?
As the long nights draw in and the temperature starts to drop, why not raise your body temperature through one of the classes that we have during the week! The numbers that we have been getting recently have been outstanding, keep up the good work for those that have been attending!
Now on to the performers of the week!
They’ve come back from holiday, picked up where they left off, and smashed it! Well, done Da and Paully, your work ethic and determination during the session you’ve been back have been incredible! Glad that you’re back!
And
Michelle is always putting a smile on people’s faces whilst working extremely hard. Always carrying an infectiously bubbly attitude that spreads across the gym! Keep up the good work!
Just a reminder, the gym is open for daily use between 8am – 6pm. Feel free to pop in and use the gym however you like, one of the team will be there to help however we can.

Well done to everyone, the turnout during all the sessions has been fantastic, just remember to book your place online for the classes. Finding healthy dishes can often be the hardest challenge in building a healthy relationship with food.
Here at Healthy You, we strive to try and make your lives easier when you’re not working hard in the gym.
So, introducing Tasty Tuesdays. Where we will post a dish which has been tried by one the team members here.
As our first dish, as tried by Conor is Pasta Primavera.

Hey team, important message.
The class at 1230 has to be cancelled for today and if anyone has a PT session with Conor that is also to be cancelled due to personal family reasons.
Conor is more than happy to do all of the PTs on Sunday if that works for people, pop him a message and he’ll sort it.

Smoothies and Smoothie bowls are a fantastic, tasty way of getting your 5-a-day. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. A great little snack drink to have on the go.
Going to places to buy smoothies/smoothie bowls can be expensive and inconvenient at times. Actually purchasing and making them yourself is much more time convenient cost effective.
Here is a simple recipe for you all to try at home that may help kick start or add to your healthy diets.
For a smoothie bowl replace the milk with yoghurt and top with toppings of your choice E.g. sliced banana, chia seeds, oats and a drizzle of honey.
Each Thursday we will post some sort of drink for you all to try! Please give us your thoughts and message us some ideas and drinks that you may have already tried!

Happy Monday Team! Let’s get after it this week. Here’s a reminder of the classes we offer and when.
ANYONE OF ALL AGES, SHAPES, TAKE PART.
You will not feel alone or out of place in our body workout circuit workouts!
These Body Circuits have been specifically designed to ATTACK fat to increase TONE, Improve your STRENGTH and FITNESS in a SAFE, FUN and effective formula, which will also challenge you mentally and physically.
ALL THE EXERCISES WILL BE DEMONSTRATED BEFORE THE START OF EACH SESSION!
The Workouts are 30 mins and will consist of a mixture of strength exercises, cardio exercises, and core exercises with some added mobility and flexibility and stretching exercises.

I don’t even know where to begin.. Just Wow!!
A month or so ago, Myself and Katie Hirst at 6am on a Thursday morning during a Pt session joked about the possibility of Personal Training for 24 hours straight.. not possible right?!
WRONG!
I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to every single person who donated, supported and took part in every 48 sessions available over the 24 hours. Without you this dream couldn’t happen.. so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To raise $3.2K for the Mental Health Foundation is just incredible, I really hope that if you have watched our stories over this event it has made you laugh, bonded you closer to exercise and helped you with any struggles you are currently facing!
Big thank you goes to Lorelei Fickert for a huge 15 sessions contributed. Katie for organising this event with me. Thai Authentic Massage for coming down and offering massages out for 2 hours on the Saturday.. everyone loved them!

Thank you to Ben Whittingham and MacKenzie Brown for helping with the sessions.. really kept my energy levels high with that enthusiasm!!

Mental Health Week is only around the corner.. so on the 22nd of September Jack and the Healthy You Team will be conducting 24 Hours of PT back to back raising money for the “Mental Health Foundation”. 🤩🤩
48 PT slots available (30 minutes) - all that is required is a MINIMUM Donation of $20. 👏
In the last 4 hours of this event you will all have the opportunity to train Jack for a Minimum donation of $100.. (Yes burpees are allowed😉)
