Hands on at the Tauranga Home Show :)

It's always great when all our business owners come together from all over the North Island. Our team building activity this time was white water rafting with Rafting New Zealand Adventure Centre.

we had an awesome time over the weekend with all the business owners from each region coming together. For our team building, we went to Rotorua Canopy Tours, ziplining through the forest, conquering fears- highly recommend it!

Hopefully by now you have all heard about the King of the Ring, an amazing charity fundraising event, hosted in Taupo. This amazing boxing event sees everyday men and women put their bodies on the line to raise much needed funds for local charities. The Double Glazing Company is excited to be sponsoring one of these brave individuals. Reed Marshall is boxing to raise funds for the Taupo Parent Centre, a fantastic charity who run programmes for parents and their children. Their many services include ante natal classes, music and movement, breastfeeding and parenting courses. This fundraising will go towards a much needed car seat programme, which will see a number of carseats purchased for hire and trained technicians will be available to help parents fit their carseats properly for their precious cargo. This will be an extremely valuable service, as plunket will no longer be doing the carseat hire service.

Did anyone see the 100 Day Bach on Choice TV tonight? We watched it and loved it! It’s a nice home-grown show about a couple – Hamish & Anita, who are building a bach in Kurutau around from Lake Taupo (in 100 days!?).
If you missed it you can watch it again tomorrow at 12 midday or 4 in the morning if you can’t wait that long (maybe before the opening of the Rugby World Cup?).

This customer wanted double glazing to reduce the condensation on the glass within thier house. They also wanted to have the colonial bars removed to open up the view and make it easier to clean the windows.

Hi Dave,

A few weeks in, and I just want to say thanks, the retro-fitting has met all our expectations and then some - it's quite weird to discover the old cold part of the house (the bedrooms) are now the snuggest and that the lounge is much less the place to be. I want to especially thank Pat and the boys that did the work - on time (and flexible), totally professional and left the place no messier than they found it. We really appreciate it.
