Clearing the Cheeseman road for the first of our out of season "summer" Lodge hires!!

We had some movement today! A few more bugs ironed out and a few more niggles discovered that need sorting but all in all good progress. Hope you love the sweet super singles we're running on the rear!!

It's been a bit of a fight be we have progress! A good mate Tony helped me set the top tune today - that was a learning curve!! Then there was no excuse but to try a crank up and we eventually had the first start up since 2014 after some fuel bleeding etc!! It Gradually found 6 cylinders as things warmed up and relaxed!! The pressures on as the countdown to Easter gets shorter. Some more loose ends to sort and then hopefully a COF - no promises yet!!

And following on from yesterdays activities - with the shoes re-fitted to the big red snow tractor it was time to fit up the blade!

Flying concrete at Mt Cheeseman today after 2 postponements last week due to weather. Stunning day today made it all go very easily along with great team to work with from Christchurch Helicopters, Firth Darfield and the Cheeseman / CBL Contracting team
