From the 1st of March 2024 how Aotearoa New Zealand manages end-of-life tyres is changing. Tyrewise will be taking care of your old tyres and giving them a second life. You will simply leave your end-of-life tyres with your registered tyre seller or fitter when you replace them, or at registered public collection points

To fund this work, current ad hoc disposal fees are being replaced with a tyre stewardship fee.
