I've had to learn a little bit of Russian for a song I'm singing at the moment and learned the meaning of 'VODKA' водка. 'Vod' is the root of the word for water, and 'ka' is a suffix added as a term of endearment. We therefore have endearing water. There's truth in that I feel!
