Central Robotics/Kiwibots Tournament 4 saw 4 VEX IQ teams and 2 V5 teams competing.
In the VEX IQ Competition Rapid Relay, St Peter's College team 3204A SPC Bots Andrew Kim Taegon, qualified in 3rd and finished the finals in equal third place, while team 3204T SPC Bots Telesphorus qualified in 9th place and 3rd equal in the finals, team SPC Bots Sixtus qualified in 8th, final placing fifth, team SPC Bots Benno qualified in 15th missing out on the finals.
On the V5 High Stakes field, 3204A SPC Bots Alexander qualfied in 7th and made it to the semifinals with their alliance partner team 2933Y The Ripper from Freyberg High School; team 3204P SPC Bots Paul qualified in 8th and along with alliance partner and first time competitors 11169F THSFF from Taumarunui High School, lost in the semifinals to the tournament winners.

St Peter's College robotics teams 3204A SPC Bots Alexander and 3204P SPC Bots Paul competed at the third Central Robotics/Kiwibots Tournament of the V5 High Stakes season qualifying in 10 and 11 place, making it to quarter finals.
On the VIQRC Rapid Relay field, team 3204A SPC Bots Andrew Kim Taegon qualified in 7th place ending up 4th equal in the final round, while team 3204S SPC Bots Sixtus qualified in 11th place finishing in 8th place.
Teams SPC Bots Sagato Telehia, SPC Bots Benedict XV , SPC Bots Benno, SPC Bots Marcellus and SPC Bots Telesphorus used the day to improve their robots.

At Tournament 2 of the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation VEX season:
In VIQRC Rapid Relay, teams SPCBots Sixtus and SPCBots Andrew Kim Taegon competed and made it to the finals, while teams Benno, Marcellus, and Telesphorus continued to build their robots. Team Benno won the Engineering Notebook Trophy!
In V5RC High Stakes, teams SPCBots Alexander and SPCBots Xystus competed, while teams Benedict XV and Paul continued to build.

Three St Peter's College Robotics Teams travelled to Lynfield College, the 2nd weekend of February, to compete in the Kiwibots VEX Robotics National Championships performing extremely well. SPCBots VEX Robotics Team 3204 Callixtus made it to the semifinals, just missing out on World Championship qualifying spot. Team SPC Bots Xystus made it to the knock out stages, while SPC Bots Benedict XV moved up the rankings on the last day.

Great performance at Kiwibots NZ VEX Robotics National Championships. Team Callixtus made it to the semifinals alongside Steam-Ed Robotics while Xystus made it to the round of 16 alongside their alliance partners from Freyberg High School. Past St Peter's College students Charlie, Aria and Farrah were VEXU torment champions.

Xystus qualified 32nd and is in the 16th seated final alliance. Benedict XV ended in 58th place

26 St Peter's College participated including two student who also participate in the school production of Joseph.
In the Team Benedict XV made it to the semifinals, team Xystus the quarterfinals and team Callixtus spend the day building.

A big thank you to Ben, Charlie, Michelle and Mr van Haren who drove the two St Peter's College vans, and ALL the parents, who drove their roboteers to New Plymouth for Central Robotics / Kiwibots Tournament 4.
In VEX IQ team Peter finished in second place along with CSNS, missing first by 1 point.
Teams Francis, Simplicius and Michael ended in share of 5th, while team Andrew Kim Taegon missed out on the finals.
VRC team Xystus qualified in second but stranded in the semifinals as did team Benedict and their alliance partner Callixtus.
All students showed great ROCK values as they helped set up and pack up, and were just awesome on this very long day!

St Peter's College had 9 teams participate in the third Central Robotics/ Kiwibots.
In VRC "Over Under" SPCBots VEX Robotics Team 3204 Benedict XV and Xystus made it to the quarter final, while team Sagata Telehia, sponsored by Powerco build their robot.
In VIQRC "Full Volume" SPCBots VEX Robotics Team 3204 Michael and Peter finished third in the finals with Gregory in fifth. Teams Francis and Andrew Kim Taegon just missed out on the finals and team Simplicius were building their robot.
Big thank you to past and present St Peter's College staff and students who volunteered.

The first Central Robotics matches were held at Massey Engineering & Technology Riddet Building. St Peter's College had teams Andrew Kim Taegon, Francis, Peter, Simplicius competing in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition Full Volume and team Xystus competed in the VEX Robotics Competition Over Under. Teams Benedict XV and Michael used the competition as a build day.

Great to be one of the VEX World Champs, without actually going to the VEX World Champs

A huge congratulations to all 16 Kiwibots teams that went to the USA recently to compete in the Vex Robotics World Champs - bringing home more awards than ever before! 👏👏

- Two NZ University teams won the top two Awards, Excellence and Design Awards and made the Division Finals!
- Both middle school teams and one high school team made it through to their Division Finals
- Otumoetai College Team 2941B won the Sportsmanship Award
- Rovers Team 48495A from Palmerston North won their division final, and were crowned Division Championships. They then played in the Arena finals - with 20,000 tamariki cheering them on!
- College Street Normal School Team 2223HB robots, from Palmerston North, then took out the Sportsmanship Award!
- Skywalker Destroyers Team 3168G made it through to their Division Final in Elementary School.
- In the online challenges St Peter’s College, from Palmerston North, Team 3204 Callixtus won the Mathworks Challenge!
