What if the city was a theatre?

Imagine performers swinging from cranes, hearing opera sung from balconies, encountering cabaret at a traffic light, drag in a shopfront or dance on the Cable Car.

This year for it's 10th-anniversary The Performance Arcade is collaborating with some of Wellington's best creatives to present What If The City Was A Theatre? - a free programme of art and performance, right across the city!

Due to the extension of Level 2 restrictions, Ecology in Fifths will be running at an extremely limited capacity throughout the season.

Following delays of the last two weeks, we have also decided to postpone our Opening Night to this Thursday 27th.

It was also the inspiration for stage director and designer Sam Trubridge to create a live work exploring New Zealand's mythical clean green image...
