I REALLY REALLY wanted to play guitar but I had beautiful Charlie in my arms. So I had quite the conundrum…til I figured out how to multitask.

So I’m doing a creative project that I’d love your help with.
I’ve been commissioned by Creative Waikato to submit an art piece to promote kindness.

So I’ve written a 90 second song.

It’s lighthearted, funny and very upbeat and is about body positivity and it’s called “Good Body”
The catchphrase in the chorus is
“Everybody’s body is a good body”

So you are now probably wondering how you can help me? Over top of song which I am recording over the next few days, I will have a video - and it will consist of lots of 4 second videos of people doing all sorts of different things, but where they are at ease with themselves, having fun, celebrating themselves and loving the bodies they are in.

I want lots sent to me so I can edit them and have a lot of footage to choose from. I’m thinking maybe 4 seconds of your video will end up being used though I’d love you to send me longer video footage than that (at least ten seconds so I have plenty of footage to edit)
And I’m asking people to video themselves doing whatever brings them joy - you could be dancing or jumping on a tramp or swimming or hugging someone or feeding or horse riding or lying under a tree or receiving a foot massage or playing an instrument or singing … with others or all by yourself … anything that is fun warm lighthearted and involves you enjoying being in your body - you could sit by a fire reading a book …

Private message me if you are keen to send me some footage. You can dress up or be in your gardening clothes - I really don’t mind. You can be unrecognisable with a wig on if you like.

It needs to be portrait not landscape (so hold phone upright don’t tip on the side) and if you can get the best resolution possible that would also help big time.
I may not use all all footage sent to me especially if I get a lot.

Remember it will only be a few seconds of you so don’t be shy!

It will end up on social media as well as other sites and places that creative Waikato and associated places see fit.

We are promoting online kindness and I am doing it tnrough promoting being kind to and about our bodies - no mater the size ability age etc etc

Our bodies rock so instead of being critical, let’s celebrate them!!
