🌱This week is recycling week and our Kaiako in the Preschool are getting it off with a great start with our recycling station and our recycling ambassadors.
🌸 Looking after our environment is a strong part of our philosophy at Country Village Preschool.

🌸 Our tamariki love spending time with our animals and our animals love getting to eat all
our food scraps.

🌼 Together we learn about caring for our animals, kindness and empathy as we spend time giving our animals aroha and kai.

☀️ What a beautiful day Aotearoa provided us with to enjoy each other’s company as we remembered past, reflected on present and looked forward to what the future brings.

Today was our centre Christmas Party and we had a great day celebrating with our whanau.
☀️ We were lucky enough to have beautiful sunshine to enjoy together.
🧑🏻‍🎄 Santa was brilliant as always and loved by the children.
❤️ A special thankyou to Jigar from Paerata Dairy for the ice blocks. They were a big hit.

🌲Children’s Christmas Party

We are looking forward to seeing our families at the Children’s Christmas party this Friday from 9-12.
Please bring a plate of food to share. Girls bring sweet, Boys bring savoury.

🌼 Last Thursday we had shearer Giles come in to shear Bruce.🐑

My name is Georgia and I’m the new whaea in the Tui room. I’m so excited to get to know all of you and become a part of the Country Village community. I am an open book so feel free to ask me absolutely anything. I can’t wait for all the moments and memories to come.

🌿Country Village Preschool Ag Day.

Our tamariki had an absolute blast with there very own Ag Day at Preschool.
🥾With Gumboot, throwing, face painting, clay creations, decorated biscuits and flower arrangements everyone was super busy.
Our centre animals Peter, Paul and Bruce made an appearance too but unfortunately we missed out on photos of them due to the rain.

🌸What great connections with the family and wider community as we celebrate our rural centre just like our fellow community schools.

🌿 This was taken a little while ago when one of our Kaiako went out to put our chicken away in her house and realised Peter, Paul and Bruce had other ideas. Shame about Chirpies house.
After their fun, it is in need of some tenderly loving care.
