Beaconsfield School is a fantastic school of about 105 children settled in some amazing countryside. We have 115 students across our 5 classrooms.
Beaconsfield School supports kids as they become academics, artists, sports people and citizens. It is a rural school which is only 15 minutes from centre of Timaru. What an awesome day with 7 of our leaders at the Grip leaders day in Christchurch. Learning key messages about being a successful leader. Orla shared the idea of how we are impacting our community with the Lake of Spode. You all did Beaconsfield proud.
A big thanks to the Phoenix Metal Recycling team who came and picked up all the scrap metal. A great job which has made a huge difference to the gateway. Thanks
A group went out to see the dog trials yesterday at Blue Cliff Station. Thanks Dallas for the invite to see some outstanding dogs at work and giving us your time to share information.

Morning everyone, exchange day is underway with Mr Inkster taking programming and computing, Mrs Hand taking Dance, Mrs Cooper taking STEM, Mrs Niven taking Science and Mrs Beadle introducing The Netherlands. All classes will take part in all sessions with all teachers during the day.

A big thank you to all the people who have helped us along our Lake of Spode journey already. Without support like this our project would not be as far along as it is. Still plenty to do but if you get a chance have a look at the great effort from yesterday.

Evening all. The REG group had their first visit today to see and ask questions around cow pregnancy and then out to our flock to drench and dag. Thanks Ange and Nic and Andrew (LIC) for letting us come along and observe and ask questions.

Registrations are now open to join the St Andrews Primary Hockey Club for the upcoming South Canterbury Hockey Season with grades catered for all players from Year 1-8.
If your child is keen to play hockey this season you can register via the St Andrews Primary Hockey Club page or by Emailing [email protected] and we will send you a registration form.
St Andrews Primary Hockey Club practice at the Hockey South Canterbury Turf on Mondays with a slot booked from 3.30pm-5.00pm.
Games are played on Tuesday and Friday Afternoon/Evenings at the Hockey South Canterbury Turf in Timaru.
Year 1-6 play on Tuesdays
Year 7-8 play on Fridays.

Our triathlon team competed today in the Sth Canty Primary Schools Race. Well done to all.
We are lucky to have The Lake of Spode within an easy walk from school. Rooms 3, 4, and 5 headed over to the lake to sketch scenes for our art, based on the wetlands today. What a great spot to take the classroom outside.
A great day had by all at our a triathlon today. Well done to all those who competed it was great to see everyone giving it their best. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped out at another great Beaconsfield event.

What an awesome BGT finals afternoon last Friday. We keep being impressed by the talent and the willingness to give it a go. Well done to all, with Victoria and Lucy being judged to be joint winners in 2023. Congratulations to Totara who took out the house singing!

We see our job as to inspire the children to achieve ‘their excellence’ as they develop into Academics, Sportspeople, Artists and Citizens.
