Bumble coming for a ride.

Having a a bit of requested coverfree time today on this chilly but at least dry winters day.

Miche just spent 2 days here to give her riding skills a boost. Here we are out on the farm for some hill work with snow on Mt Grey behind.

Clipped this guy yesterday - Sterling is a 7 month old Gypsy Cob, he was incredibly hairy, my clippers struggled a bit under the strain lol and it was like clipping him twice to get all the coat off. But what a trooper! So well behaved especially for his age having to stand there for some considerable time to achieve this picture!!

Out riding again today with Steve & Gemma, lots of snow in the hills behind.

Holly hasn’t been too well for the last month or two, I’d started to wonder whether she was just getting old at 23 and feeling her age. She didn’t want to go anywhere or really do anything, she had totally lost her mojo.
Consequently about 3 weeks ago I took her off all ridden work and I started treating her with Bowen.. she was incredibly tight in her shoulder and neck and explained why she had also become so crooked. She’s had about 6 or so sessions now and certainly loosened up considerably. I’ve also been leading her out to keep her stretching and moving.
Today I took her out for her first ride and I was so excited to find I had my old Holly back! Striding out and keen as mustard, and much straighter. It’s totally made my day to find out that she’s ok! Her mojo has returned!
