Hey everyone, we need your help. We've got a great history wall here at the Plough Hotel with lots of great pics showing some of the people and parties that have happened here over the past 163 years.
If you have any pics of the inside or outside of Plough Hotel over the years post them up here for us to add to the wall (The older the better).
We're going to to give away a few prizes and vouchers over Facebook and if you bring in the originals we might even swap them for meal vouchers. Dig through the old photo albums and see what treasure you can find so we can immortalize it forever at The Plough Hotel

Hey all, We are short staffed on Saturdays and would love a part time experienced bar person and wait person to help out We don't have many other days available at the moment but are sure to have more shifts over December and January. We can pay top dollar if you have a duty managers cert or years of experience. This person needs to be fun and have a good knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Liquor Act. Could suit someone no longer in the industry who wants a bit of extra money etc. For the restaurant we need someone with years of experience and a real eye for detail.

We are a wee bit cheeky at The Plough Hotel
We believe going out should be fun. It should be easy too- even with kids who wont sit still, teenagers who suffer device withdrawals, grandparents who are hard of hearing or people who don’t know what they want. At The Plough Hotel there are very few rules and its fun and easy going. It may look like ‘just another pub’ from the front but inside a real warmth awaits. There is also a huge garden and playground hiding from view, massive carpark and 100 seats in the restaurant. Our staff are what make us successful as we choose people who really love giving visitors a great time out, are a bit cheeky, and really enjoy what they do. The owners have had many years experience and put serving customers before office work. After all without customers there would be no office work. We love looking after North Canterbury and helping local sports teams and fundraisers too. Pop in and check out the interior, menus and our history wall- did you know there has been a hotel here since 1863. Have a drink or snack while you are here. Just don’t wear lycra bike shorts but anything else goes.
