Whose watching who?
Last summer I started documenting the small residents and visitors to my garden. We don't use sprays and I have adapted my planting to attract more pollinators, the increase in wildlife has been magical.
I just love these bad boys, they maybe freeloading on the chicken food but they are super cute with their juvenile feathers.

Out watching friends compete, I captured a few images on Sunday at the North Canterbury Dressage. It was a beautiful day, if a little warm! If you appear in the images flick me a message if you would like a free copy without the watermark. Merry Christmas!
Sometimes a photograph just begs to have a little more editing, this is the very elegant "Sangria". This lovely mare has the most beautiful eye.
Not everyone likes starlings, but in my garden every bird is welcome.
The growth has been amazing this season!

Yours is the light by which my spirit is born - you are my sun, my moon and all my stars e. e. cummings
And of course if it wasn't for these two, there wouldn't be a competition!
