We've been busy this week working with Taupo District Council installing anti slip deck treads on the boardwalks around the lake.
Brilliant effort from the team to get it completed in a short time frame 🛠

Safety first folks! Now that the timber decking on the boardwalks of our Great Lake Pathway have properly aged, contractors have started attaching special grip strips to improve safety. This will mean that those hardy souls who still like to walk, run and cycle in the cold winter mornings will have a bit more traction when the frosts are down and be less likely to take a tumble.

The work will be completed in a day or two and while it is underway some sections of the path will be temporarily closed and traffic management in place, so please take care around the worksite.
