After a long wait we finally turn the wheels on the new tractor unit tonight!

After a busy Block Of Line in Auckland City over Easter all our gear has been deployed back across the North Island working on various Kiwirail Projects.
We have 28 Hi Rail excavators and 12 Hi Rail tippers/dumpers working across the North Island Network.

Our new in house workshop facility in East Tamaki has been busy completing all of our servicing, 155’s, repairs and new builds.
Having our own premises also ensures we can complete preventative maintenance to ensure our plant is reliable as possible. Working in between trains requires operator efficiency and plant reliability to get the job done on time.
