7 years between these two pictures. For the second time, both Levi and Jacob are having their eyes operated on, on the same day!!!!

This is one of my favorite gifts I have ever received. A carefully collected little stack of scallop shells. I am a collector, I am always picking shells or rocks or leaves or treasures I find.
This is result of someone noticing this, realizing these shells would give me joy and taking the time to collect them, just for me.
They were given with no fanfare. They were given during a mundane moment, in the middle of the mess of life. But this little stack of shells is worth more than gold to me.
I feel seen.

Happy 21st to my girl who made me a mama. I am so so proud of you. Growing up as the eldest of 7 kids, a glass sibling, and as an 8 I know the load has been heavy. You are an inspiration. I love you xx

One of the longest weeks of my life. Auckland, tauranga, Auckland, palmerston north, Auckland. I did get to catch up with some of my fave people....but I am done now! Home to my 7 babies for a rest!

No filter needed. The most beautiful sunset. When your life slows down enough that you begin to see the beauty around you once again. Love that for me.

Every action we take, every decision we make creates ripples...sometimes those ripples begin with an action that has caused pain or trauma those ripples can either grow in to a tsunami that continues to cause havoc, if we don't deal with the small ripples they become bigger and bigger. If we are able to work through that trauma and pain we can eventually see those ripples become smaller and have less power in our lives.
