On Mother's Day and in our final chapter of 'Mothers in Cashmere' we are thrilled to introduce you to the forever effervescent Mimi Gilmour Buckley, her mama Emerald, and her three beautiful babies Olympia, Octavia and Augustus. This dynamic family brought so much fun to set, and we adored capturing these special moments in Elle & Riley cashmere with them.

A gorgeous bond between grandmother, mother and child, Mimi and Emerald share a "desire to see our children thrive in this world and know that it's our role to equip them with the skills to do so. We both champion the message that we are all put on this planet to contribute more than we take."

As we wrap our 'Mothers in Cashmere' campaign, propelled by a deeply supportive and nurturing mother-daughter relationship between our co-founders Elle & Yo, we wish you a fulfilling Mother's Day celebrating the mothers, grandmothers and mother figures in your life.

We're so excited to introduce you to long time friends of the brand, Juliet and Jasmine Reynolds. Two very special ladies to us, we absolutely adore their mother daughter bond. "Our mother daughter bond is strong and unique. We are very close and support one another on multiple different levels, having a lot of fun while we are at it."

As long time friends and clients of Elle & Riley, they discuss their love for cashmere - "The softness of cashmere brings us both together during busy weeks to stop, unwind and enjoy time together." Jasmine recounts how "the cosiness of cashmere instantly makes me recall warm embraces with mum, something I will always cherish."

Meet ever-stylish mother and grandmother, Rosie Wall. Rosie and Andrew share a love of "contemporary art and design, which has taken us through a wonderful world together."

We adored photographing her with her son Andrew, and her "besties" Teddy and Romeo, all dressed in Elle & Riley classic black whilst Rosie's accentuates in cobalt blue.

As Mother's Day quickly approaches, Rosie says "my beautiful boys always treat me on Mother’s Day. This Mother’s Day we are starting with a fabulous breakfast together at Daphnes Taverna on Ponsonby Road."

Meet a couple of ladies dear to Elle & Riley: the divine Tatum Savage who we've worked with for many years now across brand campaigns, strategy and more recently PR, and her mama Lynda who you can enjoy shopping with in our Ponsonby store.

Mother and grandmother to Maddox & Valentina, they share a deep adoration for these little cuties. Lynda cherishes giving them "unconditional love with no borders" and Tatum banks "every laugh, every cuddle, every moment and feels grateful everyday to be their mother."

Dressed in new to range sweaters coming soon, and Valentina in our brand new cashmere tracksuit, Tatum muses that "cashmere is akin to a mothers love and resilience. Life is imperfect, much like a natural yarn, but despite the undulations of life a mother's strength to protect her babies and provide them the happiest life she can is forever."

At the very heart of our campaign are Elle & Riley co-founders, Elle Pugh and Yolande Ellis. As a brand founded by mother and daughter, the timeless bond between mothers and children is one that we cherish deeply.

In our latest installment of 'Mothers in Cashmere' we sit down with Elle & Yo to discuss the closeness they share. Elle recalls "when I was growing up it was just the two of us at home, so we are incredibly close and think we have always leaned on each other from that. The sacrifices my Mum has made for me and the experiences we have shared together have forged a special bond."

Our beautiful General Manager Clare van den Berg is our next mother muse for 'Mothers in Cashmere'. Her gentle effervescence is completely infectious and we adore having her a part of the Elle & Riley family.

To Clare "Cashmere is nostalgia. It makes you feel wrapped up, warm, cosy & secure. These are all the things I want my children to feel, always."

Clare's beautiful mother used to say to her "we are only lent our children: we raise them, nurture & nourish them but then we must let them spread their wings & fly" which we believe are wonderfully wise words to parent by.

"Endless cuddles and kisses" is how beautiful mother Beck Wadworth likes show to her love and comfort to her gorgeous baby girl Isabella. "My mother was very present. She was nurturing, supportive, loving & always there for us. I like to think that I emulate these same traits as a mother too."

We had such a beautiful time shooting this stunning mother and her daughter, in between bribes of rice crackers, to capture such a memorable moment just weeks before Beck's wedding day. Dressed in head to toe Elle & Riley cream cashmere, this is monochrome chic at its finest.

For our second chapter of 'Mothers in Cashmere' we are delighted to introduce you to Mother to Poppy and Levi, General Manager of the perpetually humming and one of the most magnetic women we've ever met. We were delighted to dress her in our brand new and softest texture to date, brushed cashmere in beautiful blush pink.

When asked what being a mother means to Olivia, she wants to be their hero forever: "This stage in life brings so much love and laughter and it is what I enjoy the most. Cementing this beautiful connection with each other, the little private jokes you only know together, but also to take in their innocence whilst I can. It is such a big lesson to myself and husband to stop and enjoy these moments together while we can - the ones where I am a hero for buying them an ice cream after school. I want to be their hero forever!"
