the cutest little I site in New Zealand? located right by the sea, and next to the peir, this is the place to book all your marine adventures.

a very pretty backdrop for my banner this morning with all the ships behind. behind me is a very cruisy pedestrianised area with gift shops, and eating places.

wow what an awesome mural on the outside wall of the clapham national clock museum in Whangarei. The hub and surrounds are a bustling social centre with plenty of eateries, a playground, good parking, bike and kayak hire centres. a very chilled atmosphere.

if you are missing your morning run or bike then Whangarei is a good place to be. I had a beautiful run out towards the Whangarei heads. mostly on a dedicated cycle foot path next to the river / harbour. there are water fountains in the park just over the bridge on riverside road and also in Oherati, in Sherwood park just past new world. Loop de loop hire out all manner of bikes, scooters and buggy runners.

another great clock tower right next to the clock museum in Whangarei.

Hello travellers, tourists and holidaymakers! ☀

We are currently running a project that aims to understand how people experience travelling in Northland so as to help the local tourism community. So, if you are travelling around Northland, and are happy to fill out a couple of surveys and have a play on our website, you can participate by following this link: - apps.opus.co.nz/gkrt

As an added bonus, we are also giving away $2,500 worth of prize money (that you could use for more travel!) or, you can donate your winnings to a few of the local charities. The website has all the information you need, but if you have any questions, feel free to message directly onto this page and we will get back to you ASAP.

If you do choose to participate, we’ve made this page for you all so you can share your 🏄experiences🌄, connect with others😎 and seek information 👀 on anything that we at Opus or other participants can help with.

There are three simple rules to posting on this page:
1) This page is primarily travel focused so, though you are welcome to share personal details and information, we recommend that you connect with specific others via. private messages if you choose to discuss things that go too far beyond your travel experiences.
2) Please be respectful and considerate of others in your posts.
3) While you’re welcome to share anything to your personal page, we request that you do not add people to the group that are not part of the research project.

That’s all from us and thanks again for taking part in this research.
The Opus Research Team
