Tuwhiri
For all those who seek to live well. After Buddhism: a workbook
Hello everyone! Very happy to announce this page will be actively posting again! Thank you for your continued support
The Tuwhiri Project was set up in 2018. Our intention is to produce educational resources for secular dharma practitioners and communities, helping people find meaning in a difficult world.
We have published two books, a third is being worked on, and we are creating an online course which is expected to go live in the second half of the year. More books are in the pipeline.
Check out our online store here: https://www.tuwhiri.nz/store
We’ve created an easy read that will help people work their way through and get a good understanding of Stephen Batchelor’s After Buddhism: rethinking the dharma for a secular age, on their own or with others. Available as a paperback, or in a variety of electronic formats, you can get your copy here: https://www.tuwhiri.nz/store

Life without meditation is a galleon of compromise sailing on a sea of delusion.

After Buddhism: a workbook received its global and Australian launch on 3 October 2018 at Benledi House in Glebe, Sydney.
During a panel discussion author Winton Higgins engaged with Michael Dudley and Gawaine Powell Davies in an examination of whether religion and secularism can meet in creative harmony, and the creative relationship between religion and secularism.
Ably led by Sylvie Vanasse as MC for the evening, around 25 people were present and many took part in the spirited discussion.
Copies of After Buddhism: a workbook have arrived from the New Zealand printer and I’m keen to see if they’re as impressive as the proof copy. The answer: yes, they’re very impressive; they look good, and when you get yours in your hands I hope you agree they’re not just a good read but useful.
