We extend to you an invitation to join us on a significant occasion: the celebration of 170 years since The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was established here in the beautiful land of New Zealand. This is an extraordinary milestone, and we hope this celebration will be an inspiring and unifying event for all members in Hamilton and beyond.

As we gather to commemorate this sacred history, we remember the pioneers of our faith who, with great devotion and sacrifice, helped to plant the seeds of the restored gospel in these lands. It is through their dedication and the continued faithfulness of Saints across generations that the Church has grown and flourished in Aotearoa. This celebration is not only a time to reflect on that legacy but also to look forward with hope and faith towards the future as we continue to build the Lord’s kingdom in this part of His vineyard.

The celebration will take place over the weekend of Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday, October 27th, 2024. We have prepared various activities on both days, concluding with a devotional on Sunday evening presided over by Elder Peter F. Meurs, Area President. We feel these events will provide a spiritual uplift and a deep sense of connection to the past, present, and future of the Church in New Zealand.

This Christmas season, we’ll be doing more than just the Temple View Christmas Lights. Any guesses on the other exciting thing we’re cooking up this Christmas season?

Hint: This is the first time it’s been in Hamilton 🎄

Only 3 more days till conference. If your able to visit the temple please be sure to do so this week. For our children that can't do temple work we have a pdf with some activities to help them think about the temple. The activities are collated from 'The Friend'. Have fun!

Temple View Stake Conference Starts Today!

LEADERSHIP MEETING STAKE CENTRE
6pm - 7:30pm today -- Sunday 22 Sept.

All those who attend branch, ward, and stake councils are invited to attend this General Leadership meeting. Full presidencies are invited, as well as clerks and executive secretaries. This meeting will not be livestreamed -- please come in-person.
