Kia ora everyone,
We are taking some time to nurture ourselves and this evolving project. Placing wellness at the front and centre of everything we do. We soon realised it's not a 2 person project. And in order to evolve it further we knew we had to think differently, collaboratively and to nurture this incredible concept in a way that could be more supportive for everyone. This takes time so please bare with us while we refine how best to continue to grow the connections and awareness and accessibility of all your amazing businesses supporting Wellness throughout New Zealand.
What a great time spent at NZ Spirit Resolution Festival to see this new year's in. Always incredible uniting and connecting with a community of amazing people doing amazing work to support the Wellness of others. We made some incredible connections and will look forward to re-joining together to add an even greater value to Consciously Living and they way it can best serve its community. If you too have ideas please feel free to connect with us.
In the words of Heather Small - "What have you done today to make you feel proud?" And so, our Consciously Living Guide today shares some tips for self-love initiations. Even if you are well versed on self love, get creative and think of things not on this list - share your examples or experiences with us here. We can always use more 'me' time - giving space to the being that is with us our whole lives. Unlike our technology counterparts, there is no next edition to be created and replace us, we are all we have got this lifetime, so we let's invest some work into upgrading this model 🥰
Consciously Living warmly welcomes Fog & Moon Studio to our wellness whānau🌱🌱
Here is a bit more about Fog & Moon Studio:
We are an Indigenous Family initiated ART + DESIGN Studio by artist Tanya Ruka.
We work as an arts-based research studio focusing on Net Positive futures design. Our transportive style incorporates nature and natural elements into art and design.
Our work aims to illustrate practical pathways through a migratory storyline towards a net positive shift into partnership with the environment.
Drawing from our indigenous perspective, the focus of our attention is on Papatuanuku Mother Earth and nature as a partner. We believe in honouring our ancient knowledge and the deep inherent connection to it throughout our multimedia documentation process and kaupapa or methodology of research. Inspiration for our journey is drawn from navigational, cosmology and creation stories, our matauranga Māori knowledge & oral traditions.
We collaborate with dedicated researchers, designers, artisans and craft-persons who also maintain this deep respect for the natural materials they work with, implementing a co-creative knowledge system with beneficial outcomes for people & place.
Fog & Moon Studio's future goal is to organically + collaboratively develop net+ materials and textiles with the unique, locally grown plant and tree fibres of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

How we are in every moment is up to us - it doesn't have to be a world of things that happen TO us, rather a world where possibilities and opportunities happen FOR us. How do you describe yourself to others? Is an interview the only place where you promote yourself? How we are determines how strongly and positively we can connect with others around us. Assess your environment and know you have the power to create something new or deconstruct yourself from an existing toxic space.
Share your stories of learnings and growth, or a situation you are in that you need support with - we have a community here to support.
Consciously Living is on the look out for all you amazing people that are promoting wellness in some way in our communities; healers, growers, organic products, sustainable living, building and eco-tourism, conscious cafes & restaurants, wellness workshops/events.
We love what you do and are excited to support all things wellness in Aotearoa through our fast-growing online wellness platform that not only helps you build your business with our Business Support Network, but also promotes you to your local community and visitors to the region.
What's the catch, there isn't one - you can list your events for FREE, and if you wish to join as a member of Consciously Living - you choose your contribution - which all goes back into your local community.
Please join us in making wellness practices like yours more mainstream and accessible to all New Zealanders.

Our post today for the Consciously Living Guide is centred around avenues for which you can start sharing your ideas with the world. What is a project or something you have kept hidden or too yourself that deserves to be brough to the forefront and may change or inspire others and the world we live in?
I personally always used to play the guitar/piano songs I had written just in my own or limited company, until a friend (now fiancé) asked me the question - "when are you going to share your songs with the world?" It brought me out of myself and my own insecurities, to share my passion with others who may enjoy what I have to offer. I am now developing my music onto a more formal platform, copyrighting my work, as well as looking for more opportunities to play in public.
What is your idea or passion that could be shared wider than your own mind?

Many great things have come from what seems to be the smallest or most left field idea! Curiosity and optimism both hand in hand can give rise to ideas that may never have seen the light of day. The way in which we support and are open to others and their presentation of ideas also helps the production of future innovation where a receptive environment can make way for endless possibilities.
What have been some ideas you have been part of or witnessed that changed an environment you were in for the better?

What does it really mean to nurture those that we are close with in this life?
There are people we hold dear in this life, always expanding and changing with the times, these beings are all on their own journeys of growth and development too, as we are. How we are ourselves can be both inspirational or damaging toward others and their own development depending on what choices we make and how aware we are. Through awareness of self and how we impact others, we can truly BE there and make a difference in others' lives, and in return receive the benefit of wisdom from those around us.
For our Consciously Living Guide today we are sharing some reminders and ideas for showing kindness towards others - we are social beings, and through all the past events that caused further isolation in a lot of cases...we all really need each other. Let's try spreading more kindness together over the next little while and creating some conscious habits that bring back our natural sense of kindness and extending ourselves toward the collective not silo'd mindset!
Share with us the one's that you already are doing or new ones that you provide opportunities for - How did you feel? What was the reaction/response from the person(s)?
We all know a little kindness gesture can go a long way. I know whenever I extend myself out to help another, no matter how small, it always makes me feel better as a byproduct too. There are opportunities every day to make a conscious choice for kindness. It lets others know there is goodness out there, they are not alone, and may just brighten up someone's day right when they need it.
What is your latest act of kindness?
There are so many incredible healers out there, like you, who change the lives of people on a daily basis.
Our goal is to bring wellness to the forefront - from alternative to mainstream, and to do that we need your support!
- Share your work with our growing community throughout Aotearoa!!

For our Consciously Living Guide today, we share with you 8 ways you can nurture your relationships. Check out our list and comment on which ones you believe you can lean into more with your loved one, whether it be a partner, friends or family.
For us, it is no. 5 - We recently booked 3 outdoor adventures away together for October, November and December - just the two of us! We had talked about it for a long time, however work just got in the way and suddenly we were at the back end of the year and hadn't had much non-work time. Following through with plans and setting time aside with each other is super important!
What is your work on team?
Consciously Living is excited to promote Liz Fry to our community! 🌱🌱
Here is a little more about Liz' business:
Are you tired? Tired of being on the outer, not feeling a part of; maybe experience loneliness often, can't find your people, your place, your way in the world. I hear you.
This has very much been my journey, feeling broken, not worthy, that something was just not lining up, misfiring. I have been on a journey personally and over the years of coaching, with many, many others.
I am very much about helping people reconnect. The journey of reconnecting with ourselves and finding our place within, and then finding our ways to show up in the world that feel authentic.
When we find that sense of belonging, those roots, that groundedness within, we can literally feel that quiet confidence wherever we find ourselves.
It may be that life isn't that bad, but it's not that great either, it might be that we just feel there's something else that isn't quite happening, something is missing.
It may be that we are tired, tired of being on the go, tired of being there for all the others, maybe our soul is tired or our nervous system needs a rest.
I am all about connection, belonging and when we have that happening in our life, life can feel different. It can feel lighter, more flow, more fun, more opportunities, clarity, adventures. We can feel freedom, joy, togetherness, understanding, and absolutely belonging.
The journey back to belonging can be taken through 1:1 sessions in person and online; online courses to be worked through at your own pace, or through our online women's community.

Relationships are a journey that are best done together; with sharing and acknowledging feelings and emotion, embracing new and old experiences, and genuinely communicating well. We all know this takes time, patience and it is not always going to be positive and all smooth sailing. Through intention, understanding and awareness - I believe there is no place love can't conquer in our intimate relationships bringing us closer in not only the times when everything is great, but also the times where we are feeling the strain or isolation.
Share with us how you spend quality time with your loved one, or any other friend or family relationship.
From us here at Consciously Living , we love to get into the outdoors for a walk in the bush or along the beach - connecting with nature and spending quality time with those we love.
Have you ever heard of Conscious Action ? They run lots of awesome conscious events to promote wellbeing throughout the community.
This Week they are hosting an Acu-Gong Healing on Thursday 19th October (6.30-8.30pm) at The Life Centre (Auckland).
"Join us for an extraordinary workshop that combines the potent healing modalities of Sound and Acupuncture. In this transformative session, we will embark on a journey to reset our nervous systems, cultivate spaciousness within ourselves, and harmonize our internal and external processes. Together, we will reflect upon our intentions and invite new possibilities into our lives as we embrace the new. "

Kia ora whānau!
Just wanted to catch our community up on where we have been the last week or so!
We made the leap, like some have before us, to move out of our rental (3 storey house) in Red Beach, to a 1960's bus in the beautiful rural landscape of Pūhoi!
In what can only be described as an answer to all the intentions we have been putting out there on walking our talk on our journey of wellness, we are now happy to say that journey is very much started more fully from 10 days ago!
We discovered a lovely couple who were willing (and excited!) by the prospect of a longer term stay style of WWOOFers on their land; of mutual benefit in that we can also start to build our own small home there and continue to grow our online wellness community
It has been so amazing to get to know these two kind souls, with their open hearts, optimistic visions and nature conscious knowledge. They are good sorts, and we are so beyond happy that this opportunity has landed for us, and excited for where it will take us!
Soooo....we are back, settled and reconnected with you all from our bus adventure in Pūhoi!
There are a lot of delicious recipes out there, including today's post from our Consciously Living Guide focussed on smoothies! As we emerge into Spring here in NZ, try to give your recipes an overhaul, shake it up a bit and move from that warm, nurturing and hibernating winter soothers to more uplifting, light, energy-giving ideas ~ your body and mind will follow suit and thank you for it! What is your favourite smoothie from these six?
Consciously Living is excited to promote Picker's Pocket to our community! 🌱🌱
we’re inspired by the tea pickers we’re proud to work with. We want to celebrate their stories and help share them with you. In fact, the name Picker’s Pocket was inspired by one of these stories. It’s the tale of an age-old practice known to produce the best quality tea, where pickers selected the finest tips and carefully pocketed them. At the end of each day these tips were hand-pressed by the picker, and the brew – along with the day’s stories – was shared with the people they cared about most.
In other words, Picker’s Pocket is about doing things the right way. For us, that means knowing exactly where all our tea is grown, and who grows it. It means giving our expert pickers the respect (and pay) they deserve. And it means sharing with you the story of how our tea came to be.
