Our u14s are finished here in Oamaru but there is still plenty of action up in Christchurch for the u16 men. One more day of competition at Mainlands 2024! Boys play next at 3pm!

Congratulations on a great weekend of development to our u14 girls 👏🏻 finishing on a win against Oamaru Intermediate. First tournament for a number of these girls and they’ve come out so strong playing in a tough mixed grade against well drilled teams. They’ve taken the positives and they’ve got so much potential! Good luck to our u16 men who tip off tomorrow in Christchurch for Mainland’s 2024! The boys play Otago Gold at 9am and will play against some very familiar faces in their first game 😅🏀 have a blast team! We will post results on our socials throughout the weekend!

We have a huge week coming up. Starting with our u14 girls tipping off against Oamaru intermediate girls at 1pm tomorrow, followed by our u14 boys playing Cobham at 2pm here in Oamaru. At the same time our u16 men travel to Christchurch to start their 2024 Mainland’s campaign on Saturday…watch this space!

I played for the Southland Storm women’s team ⛈️ this year in 2024 and I am currently in the basketball New Zealand Emerging Leaders Program.
