MEET THE TEAM ✨

Kia ora koutou! Ko Natalia Wi tōku ingoa. He uri tēnei nō Te Aupouri, Ngāti Kurī, me Ngāti Pōrou 🙌🏼

My name is Natalia Wi and I am the founder and director of Ako Academy! I founded Ako Academy as a safe space where working professionals are supported to build confidence and competence with Te Reo and Te Ao Māori.

My professional background is in education and I have had experience working in kōhanga (pre-school), to secondary school, through to adult learners working in both mainstream and Kura Kaupapa Māori (total immersion).

I’m extremely passionate about helping more people to learn about Te Ao Māori and I get really excited seeing the confidence of people grow as they learn and develop 🥰

Besides this, I’m a busy mother of 3 tamariki and outside of mahi I enjoy spending time with friends and whānau, reading, weaving, and being outside in nature 🍃💕✨
