The sun finally made an appearance and despite it being cold, the First Hits Crew and Girls teams got to play some cricket! 🏏☀️

Let's hope summer turns up in time for next weekend - there's 171 cricketers at Brooklyn Junior Cricket Club that are keen to get out there and play!

No fewer than 30 girls played cricket with Brooklyn Junior Cricket Club over the weekend!

A big shout out to our new girls' teams - the Brooklyn Thunder and Brooklyn Lightning! ⛈️⚡️

The teams played a Brooklyn derby today at MacAlister Park. This is the first time in the clubs history we have fielded two girls' teams! 🏆

We also welcome of our new First Hits Crew for season 2024/25.

Over 20 girls and boys (and parents and siblings!) braved damp conditions at Vogelmorn this morning. Great to see so many happy faces in their new BJCC caps!

We hope this is just the start of a long association with our little family cricket club under the Windmill. 🏏

Due to circumstances completely beyond our control, our brand new playing shirts won't be available for the start of the season. While we believe we have managed to source enough of last year shirts for the majority, we desperately need some size 6 shirts for our year 2 players, who start their season on Saturday.

If you are either doing First Hits for a second year and would consider lending your BJCC shirt for a few weeks/have a size six BJCC shirt in the cupboard EITHER black or white (any design) that you are no longer using, please message the club here on Facebook or email [email protected]
