Olive looks gorgeous in the Tie Up dress, made from handwoven, ethically traded Cambodian silk, a fabric I am passionate about. Cambodia has a long tradition of silk weaving, women work on looms set up under the stilted houses which allows them to earn a living while still watching their children. The silk itself is a beautiful quality, it can be hand washed and unlike many other silks still retains the beautiful natural lustre. There are always subtle variations in colour which is part of the beauty of a handwoven fabric. Come and try for yourself or even just pop in to talk about Cambodian silk! Today I’m busy setting up a new Pop up shop in my Cuba street studio which I am so excited to be doing in collaboration with Ana from @holibolifashionz I have lots of Ana’s beautiful organic cotton and denim pieces and am busy putting out some new Voon clothes!
