Hi Burger Gang Just a quick update on production and shipping. I am so disappointed to be writing to you with news of another delay! Up until a couple of weeks ago I believed we were on track to more or less meet the estimated shipping date. The Burger sets are close being complete. In fact all we are waiting on now is the construction of the bra and bottoms, everything else is done. The delay has come down to a couple of factors including global supply chain disruptions as a result of Covid 19. The biggest hurdle specific to the burger set has been the rhinestone embellishments. The factory underestimated the intricate and time intensive process of placing and heat sealing the rhinestones on each set. I just did a rough count and there’s over 1200 stones on each set!!! Applying the rhinestone sheets to each pattern piece is a job done by hand as they need to be lined up perfectly. On top of that it is the height of summer at the factory in China, they are experiencing power restrictions in addition to managing the health and safety of staff. As a result heat sealing the rhinestones can only be done in short bursts to manage the hot working conditions. I know a number of you have specific events or photoshoot dates you were hoping to have the burger set for and I am so sorry I haven't been able to make it happen for those dates. For me personally this last delay feels the longest, we are so close and I am so desperate to get the burger out to you all. We really are so close!! What next? - We wait. Just a few more weeks I promise. - You will receive an email when production is complete with the shipping date. - You will receive an email when it’s on its way, this will include tracking details. - Each burger set will be sent with express delivery via DHL or FedEx.
