In Loving Memory of Mr. Aravind

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Aravind, a luminary in the Indian science community and an instrumental force for change and innovation in the Sultanate of Oman, where he resided for over three decades. He left us on May 22nd, 2023, leaving a void that will be felt by all who had the pleasure and privilege to know him.

Through his tenure in Oman, he worked tirelessly to create opportunities for young professionals, providing mentorship and guidance that has shaped the careers of countless individuals. He was a stalwart advocate for science education, promoting a deep and broad understanding of science among students and educators alike.

A champion for the expatriate community, he provided support and guidance for fellow expats, helping them navigate the challenges and joys of life . His kind-heartedness, empathy, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be deeply missed.

Above all, Mr. Aravind was a compassionate individual who believed in the power of knowledge, not just for its own sake, but as a means to better the world.

Mr. Aravind's departure is a significant loss to his friends, family, and all those fortunate enough to have been part of his journey. He will forever be remembered for his indefatigable spirit and his immense contributions to his adopted home of Oman and his birthplace, India.
