Sky's Ticket

Sky’s Ticket is an organization dedicated to honoring our true American heroes. Sky’s ticket was founded by Skylenn Hunt the granddaughter of Vietnam Vet; the late Gary Sturmer also known as “Grandpa Ticket” held a very special place in his heart for his 3 grandkids, Jackson, Jadyn and Skylenn. Gary Sturmer was known as a selfless man, always giving back to the community and the students he worked with as an educator for over 34 years. After the passing of Gary Sturmer in 2018, Skylenn felt compelled to carry on her grandpa’s legacy of giving back to the community and honoring those who have made a difference, by creating “Sky’s Ticket”.

Hi everyone! My name is Skylenn Hunt, the granddaughter of Gary Sturmer, my true american hero! Thank you for joining me in my new adventure in honoring veterans! On this page I will be asking nominations of veterans who has impacted your life and every 2 months a veteran will be chosen to be honored for that entire month. Each selected veteran will be honored at a special event, so please stay tuned for more info!!
