The NXL World Cup of Paintball is Back!
November 11 – 15, 2020

Six months ago, as the Los Angeles Ironmen were being crowned 2020 Las Vegas Pro Champs for the NXL season opener, little did we know what the rest of the year had in store. We certainly never expected to have to cancel the majority of this season’s events around the world. As much as we wanted to start hosting events again, or at the least let the paintball industry know our plans for the remainder of the season, there were still too many unknowns for us to make any concrete decisions.

The NXL has carefully considered how we can safely and effectively run a world-class event that would match the level of quality and competition our customers expect. After meeting extensively with local authorities, health consultants, and event promoters from other sports, we feel confident that we can host the most loved paintball tournament of all time; the NXL World Cup. We thank you in advance for your cooperation as we will need everyone to work together in abiding by the policies and restrictions in place to ensure a safe environment for players, spectators, vendors, and staff.

What will be different?
While the famous VIP and Grandstands will have limited seating, there will be a free-of-charge extended open-air viewing area of the Pro Field that also connects to the NXL Beer Garden. This viewing area will be for all ages. There will also be televisions around the site showing the live GoSports broadcast of the Pro action. More details on VIP and Grandstand ticket options will soon be available at NXLPaintball.com.
There will be one-way traffic lanes to make sure players and fans are able to properly space apart while walking throughout the trade show and through the pits.
Additional cleaning measures will be in place for high touch areas throughout each day. These areas include restrooms, handwash stations, staging areas, field access points, and points of sale.
To reduce congestion in the pits, there will be a limited number of teams allowed for some of the formats and divisions. To secure a team spot, entry fees must be paid in full online through pbleagues.com. Those team caps are:
Pro 20 Teams (invite only)
Semi Pro 20 Teams
D2 Xball: 20 Teams
D3 Xball: 40 Teams
D4 Xball: 40 Teams
5-man: 80 Teams
10-man Amateur: 36 Teams
10-man Open: 18 Teams
Mounds 5-man: 20 Teams
Mounds 10-man: 16 Teams


What will be the same?

Pretty much everything you have come to love about the World Cup, you can expect to experience at this year’s much-longed-for event. We will be spreading everyone out and even limiting the number of teams, but we are not taking any of the magic away that makes World Cup the greatest event in paintball. NXL World Cup brought to you by Kissimmee Sports will once again be held across from the Ga***rd Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida (5990 W Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34746). The World Cup venue is near the heart of Old Town Kissimmee and just outside of Walt Disney World! Thousands of paintball enthusiasts from all over the world are able to make a dream vacation by enjoying the World Cup by day and the Kissimmee Attractions by night! Many groups extend their stay to enjoy all that Kissimmee has to offer.

Trade Show
The Trade Show will run Wednesday through Sunday from 8 am – 5 pm November 11 – 15, 2020. For Trade Show opportunities, contact [email protected].

Days of Play
Wednesday will be a day for field walking, registration, and some practice sessions. Games will be played Thursday through Sunday, November 12 – 15, 2020. For a complete event timeline, please scroll down.

Entering a Team
Registration opens Friday, September 18th at pbleagues.com. Team spots are not reserved until the entry fee has been paid in full.

Grandstand & VIP Passes
While general admission and general parking at the event are free and open to the public, we will have some reserved options for those wanting to enjoy the full World Cup experience. More details on viewing options for the VIP as well as grandstands will soon be posted on NXLPaintball.com. Again, this event is free and open to the public. The NXL beer garden and family-friendly concessions will also be set up within the free trade show throughout the event.

Parking
General parking is free! Upgraded VIP Parking options will soon be available for purchase through NXLPaintball.com.

Paint
Only the paint of a 2020 NXL Paint sponsor may be used at an NXL event. Paint Sponsors include GI Sportz, HK Army, and Pro Shar.

Event Shirts
Pay your team entry fee before the 2nd deadline to make sure your team name is printed on the back of the Official Event Shirt, available for purchase at the NXL Booth.

Getting to Cup on Wednesday? Book a Practice Session!
These go like hotcakes. For $300 - $350 (depending on the time of your session), you can reserve one of the World Cup Xball airball fields for a one-hour practice on Wednesday. You can use that hour to scrimmage and run drills or find another team to split the bill and practice against you. Practice session reservations will open online at pbleagues.com Monday, September 28th.

Play More Than One Format!
If your division doesn't start until Saturday, enter into the Friday 5-Man Classic on the Mounds Field! Don't make it on to Sunday? Play in one of many Sunday-only Tournaments! Take a look below to see which divisions play on which days. While each team is allowed to play in each format, we cannot guarantee your same-day schedules will not overlap.
Xball: Prelims Thursday through Saturday, Finals on Sunday

Ligas de paintball unidas de Sudamérica (LPUS)

En el día de la fecha nos complace anunciar la creación de la base que en el futuro permitirá que el paintball latino siga creciendo y se posicione a nivel internacional como uno de los más fuertes.
Por esto los organizadores de las ligas de Argentina (ACP), Chile (CXL) y Peru (CPP), decidimos implementar una alianza que unifique criterios para fortificar nuestras ligas con apoyo entre los paises.
El primero de ellos es la implentacion de una compensación “free pass” entre los torneos, por lo que un equipo debidamente inscrito en la liga chilena (CXL) puede jugar en Peru (CPP) o Argentina (ACP) sin pagar inscripción y viciversa.

Como segunda medida, se decidió unificar el modo de juego de la categoría más alta de cada liga. Siendo race to 2 en 5 minute, con 3pod’s + 1 loader (estilo M500) el que se utilizará en las tres ligas.
Por último, las tres ligas regirán sus torneos por el mismo reglamento siendo este el de NXL con algunas modificaciones para que sea beneficiario a la situación de nuestros países.
Esperamos esta sea la piedra angular sobre la que sentemos las bases para que el día de mañana más ligas se sumen a nuestra alianza y seamos más los paises latinoamericanos que se de la misma.
