Announcing the new Social Media Coordinator for NAIBA: Leah Grover!

Leah is here at the conference, make sure you say hi! (And today, Thursday, she's wearing a shirt that Kathy Ellen designed!)

Leah has been doing bookstore social media since she got her first bookselling job in 2018. In addition to her job as the Communications & Events Manager at Scrawl Books in Reston, VA, she assists with graphic design and transcript editing for Professional Booksellers School, where she was part of the inaugural Event Management certification class, and is also certified in Store Operations & Management. Her favorite books all have either magic or a love story in them-and sometimes, both!

Leah is especially excited to take over NAIBA's social media because it means she'll be doing more of her favorite thing: talking to booksellers!

Kathy Ellen is taking a mostly full time teaching job in September; she and Leah will share duties at the conference and through August, then Leah will fully be in the role!

We are excited!

ABA’s Chief Financial Officer PK Sindwani will host workshops with step-by-step instructions on filling out the ABACUS questionnaire in June and July.

Booksellers have until July 23 to submit their responses.
