20 CHILDREN CANNOT PLAY TOGETHER FOR 20 YEARS.

A LETTER TO MY FORMER CLASSMATES.

Dear Classmates,

I humbly wish to write to you this letter informing you that; some of us left school with different perspectives and opportunities.

Some of us joined Universities immediately. Some of us got employed. Some of us are still searching for jobs.

Some of us travelled abroad. Some of us are back in the village. Some of us are in the hospital. Some of us have died. Some of us are in prison. Some of us are married. Some of us are widowers and widows.

Some of us are single. Some of us got mad and are walking barefooted in the streets. Wherever you are, if we happen to meet in this world, please be kind.

Not all of us are living a good life. Not all of us got successful after school. No matter how busy you are, sometimes check on us. Call us, message us. Let's encourage each other.

Let's support each other. Just because we started the journey together, does not mean we landed at the same destination. Just be grateful all the time.

Special #16

"Unity itself is a powerful pillar that we must use to promote national identity and patriotism in the true Melanesian spirit".

~ Melvin Tinol

Unity is oneness. The word unity is effective when a certain cluster of people of different tribes and cultures work towards achieving a common purpose.

The common purpose we all have in mind is promoting national identity and patriotism. We are already united in thoughts but what we need is someone who can encapsulate these thoughts and have it materialised.

Unity is Power! When we're united in UPNG, the student voice can be as powerful too.

VALUES| UNITY| PROGRESS πŸ‡΅πŸ‡¬
