HAPPY NATIONAL TEACHERS’ MONTH! 🥳

The Department of Education joins the nation in celebrating the National Teachers' Month 2024 starting today, September 5 until October 5!

This year's month-long celebration is anchored on the theme "Together4Teachers" which aims to honor those in the teaching profession; acknowledge and give emphasis on the crucial role, loyal service, and dedicated commitment of teachers in developing globally-minded citizens, nurturing families, strengthening communities and building the nation; revitalize the image of and respect for teaching as a vocation by increasing public awareness on the value of teachers in the Philippine society; take the occasion as an opportunity in building the image of teaching as an attractive and fulfilling profession; generate widespread support and assistance for teachers; express gratitude for the positive influences of teachers on Filipino learners; and provide updates on teacher-related programs, projects, and activities aligned with the MATATAG Agenda.

Additionally, for 2024, an additional theme 4As for Gratitude which stands for Appreciation, Admiration, Approval, and Attention highly emphasizes the significance of this annual celebration to honor our so-called modern-day heroes, our teachers who serve our young learners with admirable passion and excellence.

Suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels in all public and private schools in Angeles City on September 2, 2024 (Monday) due to inclement weather brought about by Tropical Depression "Enteng" and allowing alternative modes of instruction in lieu of face-to-face classes.

PAGDIRIWANG NG BUWAN NG WIKA, MATAGUMPAY NA NAISAGAWA.

Kahapon, Agosto 30, 2024, isinagawa sa ating paaralan ang pampinid na palatuntunan para sa Buwan ng Wika 2024 na may temang "FILIPINO: WIKANG MAPAGPALAYA."

Ang pagdiriwang ay pinangunahan ng Punong g**o, Bb. CK Mary Joyce Kabigting, Gng. Juanita Nitz Quilala, Tagapangulo sa Filipino, nagkakaisang mga g**o ng paaralan at mga mag-aaral.

Ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral mula Una hanggang Ikatlong Baitang ang kanilang talento at husay sa pagsayaw. Ipinahayag ng mga nasa Ikaapat na baitang ang maririkit nilang kaisipan sa maririkit na pananalita o pagbigkas ng tula. Nagpakitang-gilas ang mga nasa Ikalima at Ikaanim na Baitang sa pamamagitan ng Sabayang Pagbigkas. Ipinahayag nila ang kahalagahan ng pagpapahayag at pagpapalaya ng bawat damdamin at kaisipang Pilipino.

Sa palatuntunan ay ginawaran rin ng gantimpala ang mga nagpakita ng pagkamalikhaan at kakayahan sa Pagguhit ng Poster at Pagsulat ng Islogan.

Nag-umapaw ang kasiyahan ng bawat manonood at nagtanghal maging ang kanilang mga g**ong nagsilbing tagapagsanay. Naging matingkad ang pagdiriwang dahil sa magaganda at makukulay na kasuotan at entabladong napalamutian.

Tunay na ang Wikang Filipino ay makapangyarihan at nakapagpapalaya. Kagaya ng isinaad ng Punong g**o sa kanyang mensahe, "Ang temang "Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya" ay isang malakas na paalala sa ating lahat na ang ating wika ay hindi lamang isang paraan ng komunikasyon, kundi isang simbolo rin ng ating kalayaan at pagkakakilanlan.

Sa pamamagitan ng ating wika, nagkakaroon tayo ng lakas ng loob na ipahayag ang ating mga saloobin, damdamin, at pananaw. Ito ang nagbibigay sa atin ng kapangyarihan upang maunawaan ang ating kasaysayan, kultura, at mga mithiin bilang isang bansa.

Hikayatin natin ang ating mga sarili na palawakin ang paggamit ng ating sariling wika, ang Wikang Filipino. Magsalita tayo ng Filipino sa ating mga tahanan, paaralan, at sa ating komunidad. Ibahagi natin ang ating sariling wika sa mga susunod na henerasyon upang mapanatili ang ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan."
