The regional office and its 23 schools division offices warn the public against individuals or groups who illegally use the name/s of regional and division officials to ask for financial assistance.

It has come to the Region's attention that there are individuals who are impersonating DepEd officials and are directly or personally calling supplier/s asking for cash donations for various purposes.

Enforcement authorities have been alerted about the scam or modus being perpetuated by these scheming individuals or groups.

In view of the continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon “Carina,” and to aid in the rescue, recovery, relief and rehabilitation efforts of the government and the private sector, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Regions III, IV-A and the National Capital Region are hereby suspended on 25 July 2024.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

Please be informed that office operations at the DepEd CALABARZON Regional Office in Cainta, Rizal Province are suspended today, July 24, 2024.

For your safety, we kindly advise all guests and clients to reschedule their visits to the Regional Office.

Likewise, the Regional Oplan Balik Eskwela Launch and Press Conference has been postponed. The new schedule will be posted in a separate announcement.

LOOK: Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMPF), led by AVP & Operations Manager Mr. Nelson Manglo, participated in Brigada Eskwela 2024 at its adopted school, Pulong Sta. Cruz Elementary School (PSCES) on July 20.
As part of this initiative, TMPF generously donated paints, rollers, and other cleaning materials, assisting the school in refurbishing the grills, movable fences, and ramp handrails.

The school Principal, Mr. Ronaldo G. Cambel, was present during the event, along with the SPTA headed by Ms. Hilda Balgos and Faculty club officers led by Ms. Angelita Sarmiento. TMPF, a major stakeholder of PSCES, consistently supports the school's activities, particularly the annual Brigada Eskwela.

Layunin ng programang pagigtingin pa ang ugnayan ng dibisyon sa mga partner nito. Pinagtibay ito ni ASDS Alona Encinares sa kanyang pahayag.
Aniya, "Ang Brigada Eskwela ay magbubunga ng isang mas matagag na pundasyon para sa edukasyon at makatitiyak na ang bawat paaralan ay handa hindi lamang sa lugar ng pagkatuto kung hindi isang lundayan ng pag-asa at pag-unlad."

Maging ang sangay na tagapamanihala ay naglahad na ang edukasyon ay responsibilidad hindi lamang ng mga paaralan kundi ng buong komunidad. Dagdag pa ni SDS Doris Estalilla, na ang mga nilalaan na oras, talento at kakayanan ay malaking kontribusyon sa paghubog ng mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa ating mga batang Rizalenyo.

JUST IN. SDO General Trias City started the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off with a zumba exercise at General Trias City Sports Park on the 23rd of July, 5:00 in the morning.

In addition to the salary increase for government workers, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also announced his approval of providing medical allowance for over one million government employees in the country.

"Para naman sa ating mga kawani ng gobyerno, mayroon silang maaasahang medical allowance bilang karagdagang benepisyo sa susunod na taon," the President revealed during his third State of the Nation Address.

Starting in 2025, government workers will each receive a medical allowance as a subsidy for the availment of Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) benefits or HMO-type benefits.

The medical allowance can be used for various medical services, helping public employees be prepared for any health-related emergencies.
For its implementation, a total of ₱9.5 billion has been allocated under the Miscellaneous Personnel Benefits Fund (MBPF) for 2025.

This covers employees under National Government Agencies, State Universities and Colleges, and Government-owned or -controlled Corporations of the Executive Department.

“As you know, health care is a top priority of this administration. Sa pamamagitan po ng pagbibigay ng medical allowance sa ating mga lingkod-bayan, matutulungan po natin silang maibsan ang kanilang medical expenses kung kinakailangan, at masigurong napangangalagaan ang kanilang kalusugan,” said DBM Secretary Amenah "Mina" F. Pangandaman.

This medical allowance is seen as a subsidy or aid to make access to better medical services or benefits more affordable for government employees.

Brigada Eskwela kicks off today despite moderate to heavy rains experienced this morning in Lipa City across all public schools.

Public school teachers, students, parents, barangay officials, BSP Lipa, Philippine Air Force, and PNP Lipa unite in this annual preparation of public schools through clean up and repair a week before the classes open.
