Binutong
Maliputok buda masiramon.
Binutong Is a dish made with glutinous rice, coconut cream, anise flavoring, and salt. The making of this kakanin is described as the dish being, wrapped in several layers of young banana leaves, gathered like a pouch, and then cooked in coconut water or plain water.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo glutinous rice
2 1/2 cups coconut cream
1/8 tsp salt
10-12 pcs young banana leaves ( cut into 10Γ10 inches each) water
Procedure:
1. Wash glutinous rice, then soak in water for about 30 minutes.
2. Remove water, then add the coconut cream and dash of salt.
3. Soften banana leaves over heat so it wouldnβt be stiff and wont tear up easily when we use it for wrapping.
4.Place banana leaf in a bowl, push the center part to make a basin-like mold , then scoop about half cup of rice mixture, secure the edges to make a pouch, then tie tightly.
5. Place the pouches in a pot with water. Water level should be about halfway to the sides of pouches.
6. Cover and cook for about an hour over medium low heat.
7. Then remove from the pot. Serve warm.
8.This is how it looks like when itβs cooked.
9. Sprinkle with some sugar.

VALENTINE'S DAY (ST VALENTINE)
O glorious advocate and protector, Saint Valentine, look with pity upon our wants, hear our requests, attend to our prayers, relieve by your intercession the miseries under which we labor, and obtain for us the Divine blessing, that we may be found worthy to join thee in praising the Almighty for all eternity; through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray, then, O holy Martyr, for the faithful, who are so persevering in celebrating thy memory. The day of Judgment will reveal to us all thy glorious merits. Oh! intercede for us, that we may then be made thy companions at the right hand of the Great Judge, and be united with thee eternally in heaven.
Let us pray
Grant, we beseech thee, O Almighty God, that we who solemnize the festival of blessed Valentine, Thy Martyr, may, by his intercession, be delivered from all the evils that threaten us. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
St. Valentine, martyr, and patron saint of lovers, pray for us!
POSTURE OF HANDS DURING THE PATER NOSTER (OUR FATHER)

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

"If other countries had been blessed with the apparition of our Blessed Mother. Why can't the PHILIPPINES similary blessed?.
I was fully convinced that the happenings of LIPA CARMEL in 1948 and subsequent events related to our Blessed Mother are very much WORTHY OF BELIEF".
