When a heavy rainstorm comes, Brgy. Granada is prone to flood. Because of the small distance between each houses or buildings, they are all expose to flood. Also, road blockage cannot be avoided because there are a lot of commuters and jeepneys around. There is a lot of known factor that causes a flood. One thing is that all the water pour back from Brgy. Alangilan (just ahead of Brgy. Granada and a lot higher place) to Brgy. Granada cause of the said slope ground. Also, there are a lot of garbage waste in the subdivision area. Sometimes. water in the river bukal-bukal overflows and causes flood.

Brgy. Granada in Bacolod City also known as the bike capital of Bacolod because it is one of the most visited place by a lot of bikers.

Brgy. Granada has a 5% increase slope because it is in the higher grounds compare to the city proper. Even though Brgy. Granada is in higher ground it doesn't mean it is exempted to floods whenever heavy rain will come. There is a river (bukal-bukal) and dam near Brgy. Granada. There is a lot of known factor that causes a flood. One thing is that all the water pour back from Brgy. Alangilan (just ahead of Brgy. Granada and a lot higher place)

There are also many people lives in Brgy. Granada and it is also one of the busiest Barangays here in Bacolod City.
