Dear Valued Passengers,

We wish to inform you that Peoples Jeep Transport Bacolod has begun implementing a fare increase of ₱1.00 for the first four (4) kilometers as per the Provisional Fare Increase granted by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on October 8, 2023.

This increase took effect on August 12, 2024. Despite our efforts to maintain current fares over the past 10 months, the rising cost of fuel and other operational expenses has made this adjustment necessary.

Please note that this fare adjustment will remain in effect until the LTFRB issues new fare guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Cebu People's Multipurpose Cooperative Bacolod Satellite Office operating People's Jeep joins the nation in honoring all Filipino workers including our members in the peoples jeep who tirelessly work to provide a better life to their family and to our nation's progress. MABUHAY ANG MANGGAGAWANG PILIPINO!

TO ALL ESTEFANIA/FORTUNE TOWNE COMMUTERS,

We resume our operation at 5PM after the unfortunate event today. We can assure you that we will not participate in any kind of transport strike tomorrow or in the near future. Rest assured that all members of the Cebu People's Multipurpose Cooperative operating People's Jeep under Bacolod Satellite Office will continue to serve the commuters regardless of any issues that may arise in the transport industry.

PUBLIC STATEMENT:

This pertains to the recent incident involving illegal "take over" of the Management of people's jeep Bacolod Satellite Office by some cooperative members that resulted to the stoppage of our operation plying the route of Estefania-SM vice versa.

We would like to apologize to the riding public to the unfortunate event. Also, to our 56 employees affected by the illegal "take over" by some of our members.

People's Jeep is manage by Cebu People's Multipurpose Cooperative (CPMPC). CPMPC is committed to deliver exceptional service to the riding public in our designated route under the program of PUV Modernization Program.

We are appealing to some members led by Mr. Jimmy Sompreque to engage in dialogues instead of activities affecting our public commuters.

Again, we would like to express our sincerest apologies to the riding public for all the inconvenies and discomfort that this situation has brought.
